Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have not disclosed the date of their forthcoming wedding nuptials, but wedding planner Tatiana Byron, states that no expense will be spared.
When a celebrity wedding involving two of the world's biggest superstars is in the works great measures must be taken to ensure utmost privacy. Even the basic things such as keeping the location private until the day of the wedding, hand delivered invitations just a few weeks before the event and even phone calls for save the dates are a few ideas to ensure limited access to the wrong hands.
It's not only a courtesy for guests to keep their celebrity friends' wedding details discreet; sometimes slipping the secrets can come with a heavy price tag.
It is quite common for the high profile couple to have all vendors sign nondisclosure agreements with some heavy fines attached to breaking those agreements. Sometimes celebrities have chartered private jets, flying guests to the unknown locations and simply disclosing only the date and how to pack for the day.
Byron, the founder of the Wedding Salon, has arranged events in the past for such well-known figures as Lionel Richie, Diana Ross, Joan Rivers and Mary J. Blige.
Normally all guests and working vendors for these high-profile events are asked to check their cell phones and cameras at the entrance. Artists Beyoncé and Jay-Z managed to keep all the photos of their wedding out of the hands of the media simply by hosting their wedding at their Tribeca loft, blacking out all of the windows of the loft and hosting the party entirely indoors. It's rumored that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will follow their lead, hosting their wedding nuptials at the Château Miraval, their own French estate.
Brad and Angelina have recently begun extensive renovations on the Château Miraval, with security being high on their list of improvements.
From a surveillance center, to cameras, high tech alarm systems and infrared sensors, each of these security measures will be used to keep the wedding hidden from the paparazzi and unwanted intruders.
By having the wedding at their estate, they will maintain full control over who enters the property. In addition there will be plenty of room for family and friends to stay at the château, which reportedly has some 35 bedrooms.
The personal privacy laws are extremely strict in France, where trespassing laws also apply to photographers. In the past some photographers had trespassed at the Château Miraval, which resulted in imprisonment of the photographers. In addition, the photos taken were not permitted to be published. It's also likely that Brad and Angelina will hire some local off-duty police officers to act as their security. They are very familiar with the terrain and have access to the local department's army of officers for help if needed, similarly as we saw for Chelsea Clinton's wedding. They may also file for permits to block certain roads.
When all is said and done it looks like we'll see only what Pitt and Jolie want us to see when it comes to their celebrity wedding.
